Nothing brings the heat to the garden quite like Red Hot Pokers! These dramatic, showy plants produce daylily-like foliage with flower stems that erupt right during the hottest part of the summer. Flower spikes are full of tubular blooms that are red towards the top of the flower spike and orange and yellow as you travel downwards. They really do look like flames in bloom! Truly low maintenance and drought tolerant, they are a favorite of hummingbirds but ignored by deer and rabbit. Plant anywhere you might plant a daylily. Winter hardy.
